Introductory Exam
Your first visit to our office will be an introductory exam for you or your child. Dr. Nic will complete a thorough evaluation for a wide range of
possible orthodontic problems, such as crowding, crossbites, gaps, etc. Diagnostic records such as photos, X-rays, and a 3D digital scan of
the mouth may be needed to customize the best plan for your smile.
Once Dr. Nic has a clear picture of the most likely course of treatment, we’ll discuss what type of treatment is necessary, how long it will take,
and estimate how much it will cost. You’ll understand everything you need to know in order to decide whether to proceed with treatment.
Regular Appointments
After the initial exam, we’ll be ready to schedule an appointment to have your new appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) placed. That process usually takes one to two hours. You’ll see us at regular intervals of four to eight weeks for adjustments, which take about 30 minutes.
Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask you to extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
Insurance
We are in network with many popular insurance plans. Additionally, most dental insurance plans have orthodontic benefits that can be utilized at in-network and out-of-network offices. Our staff will file the insurance claim on your behalf. Coverage will vary depending on your individual plan and can be discussed in more detail at your consultation.
Payment Plans
We offer payment plans to help make orthodontic treatment affordable, paid in full discounts, multiple family member discounts, as well as third party financing options
